Overview CM Punjab Minority Card 2025

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Minority card for minorities in Punjab. She issued many initiatives for minorities in a recent ceremony. She said that the identity of a minority does not mean that you are non-Muslim, but rather that you are proof of being a true and strong Pakistani of Pakistan. 

People from the Hindu community, Christian and Sikh communities, and other religions were also present at the ceremony. Maryam Nawaz Sharif further said I am happy that the rightful person gets the right because all religions are in the same boat in Pakistan.

The increase in the number of cards has been done keeping in mind the increasing number of minorities. So that in the future, all minorities can get equal rights like other people in Pakistan. She further addressed the ceremony in detail about minorities, the details of which are provided below.

Budget Increase By Maryam Nawaz For Minority Card

CM Sahiba thanked the provincial minister for the issue of minority cards, Minority Taimur Mesh Singh Rora, and his team. Along with increasing the budget of the minority affairs department. Under this card, 50,000 families will be given Rs 10,500 every three months. 

The government has also asked to increase the amount of 50,000 families to Rs 75,000. So that the assistance of Rs 10,500 can reach all minority families safely.

Check Eligibility Before Registration

The applicant must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

  • The applicant must be a resident of Punjab. 
  • The applicant must have a minority ID card issued by NADRA. 
  • Apart from this, your PMT (Povertymean Test) should not be more than 45%. To check this, visit the Benazir Income Support Program office in your nearest tehsil.
  • If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria, then you can apply for this card.

Required documents

  • You should have a computerized National ID card. 
  • Domicile of Punjab. 
  • CNIC registered mobile number. 
  • PMT score document.

Online Application For Minority Card

Follow the procedure given below to apply.

  1. You have to go to the official website of the Minority Card. 
  2. There you have to sign up or create your new account
  3. After that, you have to log in to the same portal again through email or ID card. 
  4. A registration form will open in front of you. Enter your complete information on this form.
  5. You have to enter your religious name and all the information asked correctly in your personal information.

After that, all your details will be checked by the government. If it is correct, you will be informed through an email or SMS. If eligible, you will be given the card by the government through a ceremony by the CM Punjab.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Speech at the Ceremony

CM Punjab has taken the responsibility of protecting the people of minorities and improving their lives. Minority cards will fulfill the needs of these minorities with full responsibility. He further said that all protective measures are being taken for minorities in Pakistan. 

Minorities play a very important role in the development and progress of Pakistan. Minority Guard is the crown of the head for minorities. Through this, the members of the minority community, including siblings, elders, and children, realize that they are also Pakistanis and Punjabis.

Benefits Of The CM Punjab Minority Card

The following benefits will be available from the government through the minority card.

  1. Every three months, 10500 installments will be given to eligible people.
  2. It will be easier for poor families to meet the essentials of life.
  3. The poorest of the poor people of the minority community will benefit by getting financial assistance from the government.
  4. Poverty will be eradicated in the minority community.
  5. People’s lives will be better like other people’s.

More New Initiatives For Minority People

Maryam Nawaz also said that I would consider it necessary to join every festival of the Sikh, Hindu, and Christian communities. The Commissioner also directed the Deputy Commissioner to remove the obstacles to decorating minority places of worship and their neighborhoods on the festivals of any religion, including Holi and Easter. 

For this purpose, a minority card has been launched for the first time in Punjab for minorities. So that the members of the minority community can easily fulfill their needs through this card.
