School Teacher Internship Program
The Punjab Government and the Punjab School Education Department have decided to launch the STI program. Under the School Teacher Internship Program, a platform is being provided to the youth of Punjab where they can improve their teaching practice and start a new career.
Education Minister Sikandar Hayat Rana has taken approval from the CM Punjab to recruit 12500 score teaching internships in the recent cabinet meeting. For which the Punjab Government School Education Department has issued an advertisement and the registration process has started.
Under the School Teaching Internship Program, the youth of Punjab are being provided an opportunity to improve the quality of education. So that children in primary, elementary, and higher secondary schools across Punjab can get a better education.
School Teacher Internship Registration Extend
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has extended the registration date for the School Teacher Internship Program due to the downfall of the STI portal. Now you can register for the STI program until January 30, 2025.
This decision has been taken by the government because the STI portal has been completely down for three days due to a large number of people logging in repeatedly. Therefore, the government has extended the registration date for the STI program to January 30 to provide equal opportunities to the youth so that maximum youth can benefit from it.

STI Internee Responsibilities
The interns recruited under the STI program will be given the responsibilities provided below, the details of which are as follows.
- Under the School Teaching Internship, the interns are to be included in the School Management Council and to provide better management to the schools.
- Schools where there are no teachers to complete the teaching process for the children. To help maintain the number of teachers there.
- The main objective of STI’s program is to protect the educational interests of the students and promote education.

Advertisement has been issued for a School Teacher Internship under the supervision of the School Education Department Punjab. Under this, 12500 internships are being provided across Punjab which will be for four months. Along with the internship, the interns will also be provided with a monthly stipend which has been fixed by the Government of Punjab. Eligibility Criteria For STI 2025 Jobs
The Punjab government has set minimum eligibility criteria for the School Teacher Internship Program. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply online, the details of which are being provided to you below.
- The Punjab government has set the age limit for the School Teacher Internship from 21 to 45 years.
- The Punjab government allows male, female, and transgender candidates to participate in the STI program.
- The Punjab government has set the minimum education as BA/BSc. While for teaching in higher secondary schools, MA/MSc/BS hon should be required.
- In addition, the Punjab government has announced that candidates who have done B.Ed / M.Ed will be given priority for the STI Program.
STI Application Process
If you want to apply for the School Teacher Internship Job 2025, then the Punjab Government has introduced the STI Online Portal. Through which you can easily apply from home. The method of which is being provided to you below.
- First of all, go to STI.PESRP.EDU.PK and click on the register button.
- Then click on the login button using your email and password and proceed further.
- After logging in, click on the profile builder option and provide your personal information.
- Then provide information about your work experience in the application and attach certificates.
- Then finally enter information about all your professional education degrees and upload pictures.
- Click on the Review and Submit button and review all your data. If you have entered any information incorrectly, correct it and then click on the Submit button.
- Then go to the Available Internship option click on STI and click on the Apply button.
- This will complete your application for this School Teacher Internship Program.
STI Program Internee Hiring Procedure
After the application phase is completed, the School Education Department will provide the merit list of eligible candidates to the respective schools. After this interviews will be conducted for the selected candidates. The list of successful candidates will be provided in the respective schools and on the portal. If any person has any complaints regarding the merit lists, he can submit his complaints to the concerned DEO.
Apart from this, the appointment order of the selected eligible STIs will be issued on the STI portal. After this the STIs will be able to join their schools.

Salary For STI Internee
The School Education Department will provide different salaries to the interns recruited for STs. The Punjab government will provide different salaries at each educational level. The Punjab government has fixed a salary of Rs 38,000 at the primary level, Rs 40,000 at the elementary level, and Rs 45,000 for the higher secondary level.
