Punjab Chief Minister Laptop Program Registration Procedure
Punjab Higher Education Commission has not introduced any portal for the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Program. This time, the Punjab government has decided to provide the data of eligible students to the Punjab Higher Education Commission from every educational institute. After which the eligible students will be selected and laptops will be provided. The registration procedure is provided below in a few easy steps.
- The data of the high-performing students will be obtained from the universities, colleges, and technical institutes.
- A verified list of the students obtained by the institution will be prepared and sent to the Punjab Higher Education Commission.
- After receiving the list, the Higher Education Commission Punjab will finalize the eligible students and after completing the verification process, the list of students will be provided. After which the distribution of laptops among the students will start.

Eligibility Criteria
The Punjab government has announced that this time laptops will be provided to Only eligible students, for which the eligibility criteria have been set, the details of which are as follows:
- The applicant student should belong to any district of Punjab and should be domiciled in that district.
- The applicant should be between 20 and 23 years of age.
- The monthly income of the student’s parents should be less than three lakh rupees.
- The applicant should be studying in any government university college or medical college.
- The applicant should have more than 65 percent marks in the semesters.

CM Punjab Laptop Distribution Timeline Schedule
The Higher Education Commission Punjab has decided to complete the registration for the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Scheme in February. In addition, the Punjab HEC has announced that immediately after Ramadan, in April or May, the Chief Minister Punjab will provide free laptops to the students under the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Scheme.
