Overview of the Umeed-e-Nau Program
Punjab government has decided to start providing free winter school uniforms to children under the Umid-e-Nou Program. Due to winter, many children are unable to attend school due to a lack of warm uniforms and fall prey to diseases. Therefore, the Punjab government has decided to distribute free winter uniforms to about 23,000 children of 204 schools in Punjab on the instructions of the Chief Minister.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says that now no child will be able to stop coming to school due to cold. Because now the government will provide free winter school uniforms to all children. The Punjab government will provide a complete school uniform, a sweater and a pair of warm shoes in the free uniform.

CM Umeed Program Program 1st Phase
On the instructions of the Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Baitul Mal Sohail Shaukat Butt, free uniforms are being distribute in the schools of Narowal, Lahore, Layyah and Rajanpur districts in the Umid-e-No program first phase. But if you belong to any other district, then there is no need to worry because the scope of this project will soon be extended to other districts.
The Punjab Umid-e-No program will implemented in all districts of Punjab and free school uniforms will be provided to children. The CM Umeed-e-Nau scheme 2024 program is completely transparent and merit-based. Only deserving and poor students will included in this program and they will be provided with free uniforms.
Punjab Umed e Nau Program Budget for 2025
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a budget of Rs 43.4 million for the CM Umid-e-No program. Under which free winter uniforms will be distribute to about 23,000 students across Punjab.

The Chief Minister says that the scope of the Umid-e-No program will be further expand and free uniforms will be provided to about one lakh children. Work is underway on which and soon, once the budget is approved, phase two of the Umid-e-No program will also be started. In which summer uniforms will also be provided to students.
